Mike Prior

His photography career began in the late 70s.
Fresh out of college, he risked camera and limb to snap the Sex Pistols at Brunel University.

His work evolved to become more studio based, which gave him the opportunity to create some classic images  including that Madness cover.

He's photographed so many greats including Boy George, Paul Young, Thompson Twins, Tears for Fears, Billy Idol.                                                                                                                 

Mike continued to capture iconic shots of artists  Take That, East 17 and Peter Andre..

Exhibitions: 80s Retrospective - Pop Idols

Prior's award winning All Saints image is displayed at the National Portrait Gallery.

Mike collaborated with actor singer/songwriter Karen David based in London & Los Angeles in an evening that married music and photography.

Music has and continues to be an enduring theme.

Currently...shooting both new and established musicians, many of them having resurrected their careers after a few years out of the music scene.
Advertising, editorial, fashion, fitness.

If it moves, he'll shoot it and also if it doesn't.
